San Pablo wins 2nd in Regional Nestle Wellness Dance Competition

wellness3San Pablo City National High School (SPCNHS) brought pride and honor to the city of Seven Lakes as it bagged 2nd place in the Regional Nestle Wellness Dance competition in partnership with the Department of Education (DepED) held in Batangas City, September 25, 2015.

The Sports Coliseum of the City was filled with overflowing tension and excitement as 19 divisions clashed to get the most prestigious championship tilt which will qualify them to the national level.

The event started with the presentation of competing divisions which was followed by the elucidation of mechanics and criteria of the contest.

The highlight of the event kicked off as the 19 divisions had their share of the limelight.

wellnessThe Nestle Wellness Dance song boomed the coliseum as the yellow and blue apparels dominated the center stage. Signature choreography and concept became their way to surface creativity and originality.

“We made our way to the top through hard work ,” said Mr. Roldan Acuin, Principal III of SPCNHS, this was his words after he received the plaque and cash prize of P25,000.

Together with Mrs. Helen Ramos, Asst. Schools Div. Supt., Mrs. Annaliza Banayo, Chief of SGOD; Mrs. Ma. Filipina M. Drio, EPS- Mathematics; and Mr.Evaristo Capuno, EPS1- MAPEH, the delegation of San Pablo City went home with a smile in their hearts.
