With the issuance of DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2015, Learner Information System (LIS) and Enhanced Basic Information System (EBEIS) updating for BOSY 2015-2016, the Division of San Pablo City conducted the Data Management and Information Technology Orientation-Workshop specifically the Learners Information System (LIS) and Enhanced Basic Education Information System for public and private elementary and secondary schools and Alternative Learning System (ALS) on July 3, July 6, 7, 8 and 13, 2015. A total of 173 participants attended the said workshop comprised of the District Supervisors, Schools Heads, ICT Coordinators and LIS/EBEIS Coordinators.

The orientation was facilitated by Mrs. Carmena A. Gozo, Planning Officer III who presented the Context and Data Management Process and Accountabilities. Facts and Data Issues encountered in the LIS and EBEIS SY 2014-2015 and other concerns on LIS that are deemed essential in the accomplishment of the EBEIS and LIS SY 2015 – 2016 was discussed by Ms. Maria Rosario Lissa C. Ticzon, Senior Education Program Specialist for Planning and Research. She also commended the effort exerted by all concerned in obtaining the 100% LIS submission of Division of San Pablo City for SY 2014 – 2015. Mr. Felipe Baldemoro, the new Information Technology Officer presented the DepEd Email System, DCP Package and San Pablo City Official Website. Mr. Arnold Sinen, Education Program Supervisor in-charge of Private Schools spearheaded the orientation for private schools. While Mr. Ramon Legaspi, Education Program Specialist II for ALS – Accuracy and Literacy/A & E, initiated the workshop for ALS facilitators.

With high hopes and continuous technical assistance provided to all concerned, all public and private elementary and secondary schools and ALS are expected to attain a 100% accomplishment for both EBEIS and LIS on or before the set deadline on August 31, 2015.
