“TEA Governance Equates to Trustworthy, Honorable and Responsible Leadership.” This is the title of the winning essay written by Mr. Albert T. Saul, a consistent math lover and Principal II of San Vicente National High School. His passion to be a transformational leader inspired him to write the winning piece.
He believed that being a school leader is a tough job. He emphasized that it takes a lot of courage, love and commitment in order to be a transparent, ethical and accountable school leader. He stressed that if a leader will live by the principle of TEA governance, then trust and honor will follow.

Math (3)He joined the competition not expecting to win but just to express his heart and mind about TEA governance. When asked about his reaction on the award he received, he smiled and said that he was not expecting to win because his inclination is not on language but on numbers. He also said that the other winners were amazed when they found out that he was a math teacher. When interviewed if he will be joining other essay writing contests in the future, he gave us a big smile and said as long as he will write from his heart he will not stop writing and expressing his ideas to the world.
